# Image > **He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation** - Colossians 1:15 My brothers and sisters, it is incredible to note how, in this day and age, we have a plurality of ideas; this is certainly due to the great amount of freedom given to the propagation of ideas. And, as one might imagine, the Bible would not be left out of the attempts to water it down to the extreme, and unfortunately, some end up tearing pages out of it to attribute things that are not as they say. The Bible, in a way, has already guarded itself against this type of thing; it is written: "**Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever**." - Hebrews 13:8. It also said: "**Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away**." - Matthew 24:35 God is who He is and He also wants us to have the same way of thinking: "I am what I am", as the Apostle Paul said: "**For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed**." - 1 Corinthians 15:9-11, Paul did not say "I am what I am" wanting to refer to himself as God. Actually, the Corinthians were questioning Paul's authority quite a bit, and even his manner, because in his letters he was more rigid, but in person he was milder. Paul even criticizes this, asking them if they wanted him to come to them with a whip (1 Corinthians 4:21). I say these things because, often, we question our way of being based on the people around us or even the reality in which we live. If God gave you joy, be joyful; if He gave you the gift of enjoying solitude more, enjoy it, but do not conform to the pattern of this world and follow the will of God, who molds you in the best way.
